Criminal Defense
Attorney Firicano takes an individualized approach to each case and each client’s specific needs and goals. She is committed to exhausting all possible legal avenues in pursuit of a favorable resolution. She has tried cases at all levels of the trial court in Massachusetts, including life felony trials in the superior court. She has also argued cases on appeal before the Appeals Court, the Supreme Judicial Court, and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. More importantly, on various occasions, she has exhaustively investigated cases and uncovered exculpatory evidence which exonerated her clients prior to trial. In those instances, she has been successful in convincing prosecutors that they cannot sustain the prosecution against her clients, which resulted in the criminal charges being in dismissed prior to trial or in the government/prosecution filing a “nolle prosequi,” (“do not prosecute”) relative to the charges.
